Who We Are
Named “Best Pizza in Indiana” by Food Network Magazine & “Top 5 Food Trucks in the US” -The Cheat Sheet, the Rolling Stonebaker food trucks have been serving the northwest region of Indiana along with parts of Michigan, & South Bend for over 15 years. Our brick and mortar location is conveniently located in downtown Valparaiso, in the heart of Central Park Plaza.
Growing up in the family food industry, at Pesto’s Italian Restaurant, I was always passionate about cooking and baking. At 19 years old, I joined partnership with a family friend and opened a restaurant in Miller Beach, IN. called Cafe 444. Although it was eventually sold, it was the start of a new journey creating the Rolling Stonebaker in 2010.
While we offer traditional pizzas, because you can always count on a good classic, I also feel that we have tried to put a bit of a twist on our pizzas it’s not just a pizza, it’s a Stonebaker pizza, respect the char!
In addition to pizzas, we offer a variety of pasta, soups, starters, and even wood-fired desserts. We use red oak, provided locally and chopped on-site, to cook all of the food we have to offer. On the catering end, the truck provides a fun and social atmosphere where guests can watch their pizza cook in the wood fire oven.
Not only does our food provide a wonderful experience, but our amazing team makes the experience incredible for patrons. I am fortunate to work alongside many strong women.
